We need someone in charge of safety also - this includes police escorts through the city when we first start out - researching and printing materials geared toward Group Riding Safety to be handed out and posted, etc.
Whatever ideas or thoughts anyone has, any input at all, please post it here. When it comes to meetings I'll be referencing this thread to get everything going. |

Sorry, the ideas are just pouring now...
We need someone to coordinate guest riders / appearances / Breast Cancer speakers, etc. It would be great to have some well known / celebrity bikers to participate! I'm not talking about Rossi or anything like that, but something to draw some more people. The Steelers are very active in Breast Cancer Month Activities, does anyone have any connections there? |

I'd be willing to help out as well. Great idea!

Ok, someone pointed out that October is too late in the season and after thinking about it, I would have to agree. The turnout won't be nearly as good then compared to doing it during the heart of bike season. That does mean we have to work harder / faster to get this planned. What does everyone think of scheduling it late August?

I would opt for Real Early September.
Most vacations are over by then. We could do it labor day , and make it an annual event Edited by jimmy c on Feb 4, 2010 10:13 AM |

Maybe 'cause I have plenty of experience with law enforecement...... or 'cause the Sweeper looks after these things. You pick |
