    Friday night rides

    A few weeks back we did Friday evening ride that was a lot of fun. My schedule this summer leaves Friday as my best night to take an extended ride so I want to see if we have enough interest to do a 2-4 hour ride stopping at a pub or ... Read morerestaurant for food after the rideon. We can rotate the starting point and route between the east/west/north areas of the city.     I've read its supposed to be televised on Discovery HD Theater on Monday Auguast 23rd at 9:00 pm. They haven't updated their online listings that far inadvance yet.

    Abram's Creek Weekend - June 11-13

    We would leave on a Friday Morning and return Sunday Afternoon. The ride is 3 - 3/12 hours with breaks. We would rent the lodge house rooms because beds, bedding, kitchen supplies and everything is included, so no need to carry a ton of ... Read morethings. June 11, 12 & 13 is open as of right now, but the reservations fill up pretty quickly as the weather improves. If we rent the entire house, there are 14 beds and it would be a little over $50 each. If we have enough response and schedule this meetup, deposits will be required so we can reserve the house. http://www.abramscreek.com/ The roads are gorgeous, lots of places to ride, a thermal lake to stop and swim in, campfires in the evening...

    trip to Motorcycle Playground

    We are planning a trip to the Motorcycle Playground, Sept. 22 ? 26, our base of operation will be Abingdon VA. More details will follow, but here?s general plan.
    Will probably have a mixed bag (cruiser & sport tour) so we will have ... Read moremultiple routes available. Looking for volunteers to build routes and lead. We will find a reasonably priced hotel and reserve a block of rooms.

    It?s just under 400 miles to Abingdon so that?s a full day down and back, leaving us 3 days to have a great time.

    So let?s here is who wants to go.

    butler fair bike night

    On friday july 2 is bike night at the butler fair. If you ride in enter though the west gate to go into the grandstand area and you will be admitted free of charge. There is also a free concert with the clarks and the earthquakers that night.
