Last Minute Love Deer Run...
Thinking about riding to WV to see the Love Deer (Cool Springs Exxon in Rowlesburg) this afternoon. 265 mile loop from Murrysville. Nice mix of back roads and state highways. Leave Murrysville at Noon, return by 7pm.
NOTE: I am trying to kill off my rear tire and not sure it has the whole loop in it, but I'll keep an eye on it and cut my loop short if needed.
Post up if interested. I am not 100% committed yet. Have to do some Honey Do chores this morning to get my hall pass for the afternoon...

Well that was a really nice ride this afternoon. Sunshine and blue skies for the most part. No traffic to speak of. Roads were mostly clean, but WV 50 is getting a bit beat up in places. The loop I did really is an outstanding mix of roads and scenery. Good stuff. I ended up with 275 miles on the clock. My rear tire is well and truly shot now. The tread in the middle third is almost completely gone and there are couple small bits of cords poking through. I guess I got all the miles I could out of that tire. Time to spoon on the RoadSmart that is sitting in the garage...
