The opening round of World Superbike action kicked off from Phillip Island and proved all the pre-season hype to be right on the mark. Exciting action from the opening lap, including a photo-finish in Race 1, gave Australian fans and TV viewers worldwide plenty to be excited about for this new season. Welcome to 2010 edition of WSBK racing!
We could get a big bonus for viewing on Sunday afternoon. The Olympic hockey finals are at the same time. If the U.S. wins the next one and makes it in, we can have Wolrdsuperbike and U.S. Olympic final game together.
itch? this is like the herpes of itches to want to ride... the more you scratch the thought.. the worse it gets.
my career goals are going to go one of two ways: a paid relocation to a job in an area with a close to year-round riding season ( i can handle a month or so).. or a good enough job here to afford winter toys.. the former has preference at the moment.
not in PA yet...we have a ride that weekend with about 80 riders through the SoCal mountains and desert with an overnighter afterward at Lake Henshaw near Palomar Mountain...going away gig for our Marine members leaving Pendleton for Afghanistan
“ It was good to see who I haven't seen in awhile and got to watch the race and the Gold medal game at the same time. Best part was sweetie Holly putting someone in their place on her Vespa. ”
“ Good to see a few new people, some old friends(unexpectedly) and Rob and Jim, thanks for the conversation.
Good venue, the speaker boxes weren't so bad really, but for some reason it was hard to hear(some Olympic hockey team kept coming up from underneath against a notable rival ; ) )
Too used to MotoGP races where somebody gets out front by 8 seconds and you watch that for 10 minutes. WSB was awesome nail biting action in the front of the pack until the the checkered flags. Not seen a finish like that in the first race EVER. If this is any indication of WSB season, I am definitely making it a priority.
Thanks to Mark for organizing! ”

After reading this, I don't think my weather report was right.
Here, I don't even need to look at the forecast. :(
In Melbourne, Austrailia (which is the closest large city to Philips Island) it will be 67 degrees F with 0% of precip.
Wonder what the weather is going to be like...
wait, what? why? russians lost... oh wait... :) i would def. be excited to watch both.

I like watching the WRC (rally racing) on TV from Europe. Drifting the turns and hitting the jumps through the woods is nuts.
i like watching the rolex series on speed... theres some fun driving in that. (if were sticking to cars..)
Boys!Boys! Theirs nothing better than supercross and out door motorcross racing.
